With 1080p hitting the new iPad (iPad 3) and Apple TV 3, some of you are perhaps now looking to send your Blu-ray collection over to iOS devices for playing back. Here is an easy part. Convert/Transfer TiVo Recordings to Mac H.264-compliant videos for iPad 3, iPod and Apple TV 3 playing

As the most advanced and innovative DVR (digital video recorder) ever built, the TiVo brings the best entertainment from cable and the web together in one place. That way we could record what we were already paying for and watch shows when I had the time to watch them. Yeah Tivo has a monthly fee but it’s the principle of the thing! The problem with Toast is that DRM Tivo attaches to all recorded shows doesn’t allow any editing or transcoding of your recorded Tivo file. That’s when I started looking around for another way. What I found that worked best was an application called Pavtube Video Converter, a top Mac TiVo Converter.

Smoothly Play AVI files on new iPad 3 with best video quality

iPad 3 Play Downloaded .avi files?
I’m trying to figure out if the new iPad is able to play movies (fromatted .avi DiVx) I’ve downloaded from Torrents… Can never seem to add those files to my iPad…

The answer is Possible. Most of you may have lots of AVI videos and want to put and play them on your new iPad 3. However, due to the restriction of file type on the Apple tablet (.mov, .m4v, .mp4), playback is a blue moon.

Despite lack of offical support, we can watch AVI movies on new iPad 3. According to my own experience, converting avi to new iPad 3 mp4 format is the easiest and ultimate solution. I ever once got the same problem, and tried to look for a video player than can play all avi and divx videos. After several attempts, I found the media player still have format limitation – only part of the AVI files can be played well, some can be played but with poor quality, some even can’t be recognized. Finally, I saw Pavtube mentioned in the iPad forums as a good way to convert for the new iPad 3 so I decided to try it. As a result, the videos look decent and smooth on my iPad 3.

I’v taken the new iPad 3 for one week, and I can say without and I can say without reservation that it absolutely rocks for watching HD even Full-HD 1080p movies. Withe the lastest Apple Tablet I can download and watch HD (High Definition) Movies and TV shows right on the iPad.
