Rip/Convert DVD ISO Movies For Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Full-Screen Playback
Is it possible to play DVD videos on Galaxy Tab 10.1?
I have some .iso files copied from DVDs. I’m wondering if I can put these DVD iso videos to Galaxy Tab 10.1 for watching. Does 2nd gen Samsung Galaxy tab play .iso format?
The answer is Possible as long as you convert DVD iso to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 compatible videos(e.g. H.264 mp4). Currently the Tab 10.1 supports but only wmv, H.264, MPEG4, DivX, H.263, VP8 format of videos. While the DVD iso image file is encoded with MPEG-2 which is uncompatible with almost all Android-based Tablets including the Galaxy Tab. So before transferring DVD iso files to Galaxy Tab 10.1, you need to transcode DVD iso to H.264 mp4 videos or something else which the Galaxy Tab natively supports.
